ONE Fight Night 25: Former title challenger Sinsamut welcomes Youssef Assouik to the lightweight Muay Thai ranks

Another high-level match-up has made its way onto ONE Fight Night 25 as former lightweight Muay Thai world title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee returns to action. It has been some time since we last the Thai striker in action and he's got a point to prove in this return.

At ONE Fight Night 22 in May, he was stopped by Dmitry Menshikov in dramatic fashion after being minutes away from getting his hand raised.

He now looks to bounce back at Lumpinee Stadium on October 4 when he faces a new arrival to the division in Youssef Assouik.

The 29-year-old contender has been able to make an impact on the European and Middle Eastern scene with a win over former ONE world title challenger Jimmy Vienot sealing his ticket to the big show.

Lightweight Muay Thai has always been an exciting division under the ONE banner but now, Assouik has the opportunity to take out a flag bearer of this weight class.

Defeating an opponent like Sinsamut, who has gone toe-to-toe with the champion Regian Eersel on two occasions, will instantly put him on the map.

It is up to the experienced contender to prove that he still belongs at the top.

Sinsamut Klinmee joins a stacked striking card at ONE Fight Night 25

The return of Sinsamut Klinmee against a new and exciting contender is just one thing to be excited for heading into ONE Fight Night 25.

In the main event, Regian Eersel looks to recapture his ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship after Alexis Nicolas was able to pull off a shock upset in their first encounter.

There's a lot here for striking fans with Kongthoranee Sor Sommai vs Tagir Khalilov and the likes of Daniel Williams, Thongpoon PK Saenchai, and Rui Botelho.

Not to mention, a pivotal match-up in the strawweight MMA division as experienced contender Bokang Masunyane faces Mansur Malachiev.

ONE Fight Night 25 will air live in US Primetime free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in North America.
