Round 1: Pirnie opened with a front kick and added two more. Cohen fired a three-piece combination of punches and a leg kick. Pirnie continued to move forward, and Cohen moved away by stepping back. Cohen fired more combinations but was met with kicks to the lead leg.
With less than a minute left in the round, the first clinch battle was initiated, and they both landed knee strikes against each other. Their offense was cautious and calculated in the first round.

This immediately paid dividends and clipped Pirnie with a left hook. She again caught a front kick and trapped it before unleashing multiple solid punches against Pirnie. Cohen turned the tables in the round heading into the last round.
Round 3: Both fighters landed significant strikes at the start of the final round, but the action was halted momentarily with an eye poke incident. After the interval, Cohen became more aggressive and let go of her hands to add more damage to Pirnie's already bloodied face.
Pirnie went back to her front kicks, but Cohen responded with more powerful punches to back the Scottish star up. The match ended with a battle inside the clinch.
