ONE Fight Night 34: Jeremy Pacatiw and Elbek Alyshov set to clash heads in bantamweight MMA banger

Fifth-ranked ONE bantamweight MMA contender Jeremy Pacatiw will look to defend his place in the rankings against promotional newcomer Elbek Alyshov.

This three-round 145-pound mixed martial arts tiff has been added to ONE Fight Night 34: Eersel vs. Jarvis on Prime Video, slated to go down inside Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium on Aug. 1, live in US Primetime.

After winning three of his first four matches in the world's largest martial arts organization, Pacatiw stumbled against Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 29 last March, losing via unanimous decision.

'The Juggernaut' certainly has vengeance in mind and will look to keep his name in the running for possible contenders against the reigning bantamweight MMA kingpin Fabricio 'Wonder Boy' Andrade.

However, the Filipino stalwart must bring his A-game against the undefeated Alyshov, who will enter ONE with a spotless 8-0 slate.

After a decorated amateur career where he won the IFMA Junior World Championship in 2018, the 26-year-old Russian proved he is the real deal by winning the Colosseum MMA and Hardcore FC titles.

Alyshov is a ground savant, with six of his eight wins coming by way of suffocating submissions. It will be interesting to see how his skills will match up against the well-rounded Pacatiw.
