ONE Friday Fights 70 full results and recap: Stephen Irvine's mean left hook flattens Focus in under two minutes
It was business as usual for Stephen Irvine at the latest edition of ONE Friday Fights as he picked up his third finish in the promotion against Focus PK Wor Apinya.
The Deachkalek Muay Thai Academy star never took his foot off the gas pedal as their ONE Friday Fights 70 main event fixture got underway inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 12.
He stalked his Thai foe behind his heavy hands from the get-go, easily switching between lefts and rights, keen to leave an impression.
While Irvine didn't land as cleanly as he would have liked early on, it didn't take him long to find his range and establish rhythm.
From there, it took him only a matter of seconds to crack open the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym representative with a beauty to close out ONE Friday Fights 70.
'El Matador' hopped inside the pocket, leaned into his power left side, and connected with a clean left hook that separated Focus from his senses at the 1:57 mark of the tie.
With the win, the 24-year-old improved his overall resume to 27-4. At the same time, he upped his promotional record to 4-1.
ONE's latest offering inside the Mecca of Muay Thai delivered four more highlight-reel moments courtesy of Yodthongthai Sor Sommai, Tun Min Aung, Apidet FiatPathum, and Kendu Irving.
The entire ONE Friday Fights 70 replay is available on ONE Championship's official YouTube channel or the ONE Super App. Geo-restrictions may apply.
