ONE Friday Fights 82 treated the global audience with another epic night of martial arts, topped by Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri and Abdulla Dayakaev's thrilling bantamweight Muay Thai war.
The pair threw down from the start of their three-round slugfest inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this past Friday, Oct. 4.
Yod-IQ got things off to a flyer, piercing in with thunderous kicks that took his Russian foe by surprise. In return, the 22-year-old kept him on alert with near-identical power.
Still, none of what the Team Mehdi Zatout star uncorked troubled the Thai slugger. The PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym man kept himself in the lead off his effective counterattacks in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 82.
As the third round unfolded, both strikers knew another solid round would massively help their bid to claim a win.
Though Dayakaev kept creeping forward behind big combinations, Yod-IQ was just too slick to catch.
In addition, the youngster kept on timing his shots to perfection impressed all three judges scoring at ringside.
With the unanimous decision win, the Thai moved to 6-1 in ONE Friday Fights and 121-36 overall.
Apart from the all-out war between Yod-IQ and Dayakaev, the promotion's latest weekly installment inside the Mecca of Muay Thai delivered four spectacular highlight-reel finishes.
Denkriangkrai Singha Mawynn clocked Sanpet Sor Salacheep with a picture-perfect left to seal the deal in 51 seconds. Meanwhile, Alessio Malatesta and Eduard Saik picked up knockouts of their own to secure their first promotional win.
The lone submission win of the night was courtesy of Lucas Gabriel's vicious arm-triangle choke of Gadzhimurad Amirzhanov in their lightweight MMA contest.
