"One last throw of the dice" - Battle-tested veteran Liam Harrison gearing up for one final push for a ONE world title
British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison is coming up on his highly anticipated comeback and return to ONE Championship.
Harrison suffered a debilitating knee injury in his 2022 world title showdown with former bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama. Since then, 'Hitman' has been sidelined on the road to recovery. Now, he's ready to step inside the ring once again for one last go.
Speaking to Fight Energy Films in a recent interview, Harrison talked about his return to action in June.
'Hitman' said:
"I've looked after my body. I've [taken] care of myself, I've kept working on the aspects that I can do, and I do believe that I can have one final run, one last throw of the dice. One last run towards the title, and if I didn't believe that in my own heart and my own head, I would have retired."
Harrison returns to fighting at the age of 38 and will look at making a run at the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. The reigning champion is none other than the two-sport king 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty, Harrison's countryman.
