Paddy Pimblett down to face 'clout chaser' Logan Paul but on one condition
Paddy Pimblett (20-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC) has taken yet another jibe at Logan Paul, continuing their back-and-forth war of words. UFC lightweight Pimblett has been feuding with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul over the past few years.
'The Maverick', who holds a 0-1 record as a professional boxer, has consistently maintained that he'd face Pimblett in a boxing match. Besides, Paul has often claimed that he's willing to make his MMA debut and fight 'The Baddy' in the UFC.
Logan Paul recently inked a contract with the UFC, whereby PRIME -- a drinks brand partially owned by himself and KSI -- will serve as the official sports drink of the UFC. Paul hasn't joined the UFC roster as a fighter. Regardless, the American celebrity continues to challenge the UK's Paddy Pimblett to face him in the boxing ring or the MMA cage.
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Paddy Pimblett was recently asked about Paul calling him out for a fight. Pimblett responded by suggesting that Paul, a cruiserweight pugilist, should cut down to his (Pimblett's) weight and get off the steroids for their fight to materialize.
The UFC enlists the services of USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency), which helps prevent UFC athletes from using steroids to gain an unfair advantage in their fights. 'The Baddy' implied that Paul is presently utilizing banned PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs), would fail his USADA-administered tests, and wouldn't be able to fight in the UFC. Pimblett stated:
“It’s mad. He called me a clout chaser years ago, and then he’s clout-chasing me all the time. You know what I mean? Mentioning me name all the time. So, if he ever wants to fight in the UFC, lad, he’s more than welcome. Like, I’ll be there waiting for him. He can just get his weight down a bit, come off the steroids, and we’ll fight.”

Logan Paul reveals the solitary condition to fight Paddy Pimblett in the UFC
Paddy Pimblett's most recent fight saw him secure a unanimous decision victory against Jared Gordon in December 2022. During his aforementioned interview with MMA Junkie, Pimblett addressed his next fight. He indicated that he'll undergo ankle surgery soon and will probably return before the year ends.
Appearing on Australian radio station KIIS 1065, WWE superstar Logan Paul recently insinuated that Paddy Pimblett is to blame for their potential fight not having come to fruition yet.

He highlighted that 'The Baddy' is under contract with the UFC and is unable to get out of it to box him. Claiming that he'd fight Pimblett in the UFC if the 155-pounder came up to his weight, Paul said:
"I would happily go to the UFC but we are at different weight classes. If he’s willing to come up to my weight class in the UFC, I’d be more than happy to beat the sh*t out of Paddy The Baddy.”
