Paulo Costa gives two-word reaction to J.K. Rowling allegedly deleting Imane Khelif tweets after being named in lawsuit

Paulo Costa recently reacted to reports that J.K. Rowling allegedly removed her tweets about Imane Khelif after being named in a lawsuit filed by the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist boxer.

Khelif, who became the focal point of a global gender eligibility controversy during her Olympic campaign, made history by defeating China's world champion Yang Liu to secure a gold medal in women's welterweight boxing for Algeria.

Following her victory, Khelif and her legal team filed a criminal complaint last week with the Paris public prosecutor’s office, citing alleged “acts of cyber-harassment.” The legal action, filed against unnamed individuals under French law, claims that the 25-year-old polarizing boxer was subjected to “misogynistic, racist, and sexist” cyberbullying. The lawsuit prominently names SpaceX owner Elon Musk and Rowling as key figures in the case.

After being implicated in the cyberbullying lawsuit for making controversial comments about Khelif's gender, the renowned 'Harry Potter' author allegedly deleted most of her posts related to the boxer.

Costa recently took to X to respond to one such report involving Rowling, writing:

"Admit it"

Khelif came under scrutiny regarding her gender after it was revealed that she was barred from competing in the Women's World Boxing Championships in New Delhi, India, in March 2023 for allegedly failing a gender eligibility test conducted by the International Boxing Association (IBA).

However, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) challenged the validity of this test. Prior to the Paris events, the IOC revoked the IBA's status as the governing body for boxing and removed it from the Olympics.

Derek Brunson lauds Imane Khelif's triumph at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Derek Brunson recently praised Imane Khelif's gold medal win at the Paris Olympics. In a post on X, he stood up for Khelif, affirming that she was born female and stating that her victory decisively shattered all the gender-related controversy. He wrote:

"Imane Khelif wins the Gold Medal. A lot of propaganda and lies. Born a female, born with lady parts. Lies about the IBA tests that were not disclosed. Not a transgender. That’s not allowed in her country. HI HATERS #SHEisHER #IMANEKHELIF."
