Paulo Costa shares a NSFW fake callout targeting Sharabutdin Magomedov

UFC middleweight Paulo Costa is known for his shenanigans on social media and can be often be seen posting controversial content on his X account. One such instance happened recently when he shared a picture that contained a fake post of him calling out Sharabutdin Magomedov for a fight.

'Borrachinha' shared a screenshot of the fake callout, which contained a racist slur.

"Give me that n**** Shara."

While sharing the fake callout image, Costa wrote in the caption:

"Hey I didn't post it. Hahah WTF."

Magomedov was recently in action on Oct. 26. He opened up the main card for UFC 308 in a middleweight showdown against Armen Petrosyan.

'Shara Bullet' delivered a thrilling moment for MMA fans around the world as he knocked Petrosyan out with spinning backfists in the second round of the fight in Abu Dhabi.

The victory earned him a 'Performance of the Night' bonus worth $50,000.


Does a fight between Paulo Costa and Sharabutdin Magomedov make sense?

Paulo Costa is currently going through a rough patch in the UFC. The Brazilian is riding a difficult two-fight skid and has lost four out of his last five encounters in the promotion. He's ranked No. 11 in the UFC middleweight rankings after his recent setbacks.

Sharabutdin Magomedov, on the other hand, is a rising contender in the 185-pound division. The 30-year-old is undefeated with an impressive record of 15-0. Magomedov has won all four of his bouts in the UFC and has won a post-fight bonus in three of them.

In addition to that, the Dagestani is currently ranked No. 14 in the promotion's middleweight rankings.

With that in mind, a clash between him and Costa could prove to be a meaningful matchup.

If the fight becomes a reality, it would be interesting to see whether Magomedov would continue his undefeated run or if Costa could ruin his plans and return to winning ways.
