PFL champion responds to Dana White's comments about Francis Ngannou making more money in the UFC
A PFL champion recently weighed in on Dana White's comments regarding Francis Ngannou's potential fighter purse had he re-signed with the UFC. She responded and even doubled down by claiming her current pay is also better.
Reigning women's featherweight Super Fights champion Cris Cyborg clapped back at the UFC CEO for insinuating that 'The Predator' would have been better off financially had he remained with the promotion. He stated that the figure Ngannou earned for his latest bout against Renan Ferreira would basically pale in comparison to what he would have earned for a bout against Jon Jones.
The Brazilian took to her X account and responded to a clip of White's comments and said that she was never offered anything close to what the PFL/Bellator brass offered. Cyborg defended Ngannou's decision to pursue other options that allowed him the freedom to compete in lucrative boxing bouts and mentioned that her current contract is better than when she was the reigning UFC women's featherweight champion:
"My contract now is much better than any contract I was offered, even while I was UFC champ. Prize fighters should all be all about the money."

What did Dana White say about Francis Ngannou?
Dana White made a bold claim regarding Francis Ngannou that he was only interested in money and didn't want to fight Jon Jones.
During his post-event press conference following Power Slap 9, White responded after a reporter asked his thoughts on 'The Predator's win at Battle of the Giants. He mentioned that Ngannou didn't want to risk losing to Jones as it would jeopardise his potential opportunities to compete in boxing:
"Francis [Ngannou] is all about the money. Francis left because he knew that if he fought Jon Jones and didn't win, it would hurt his chances of making the money that he wanted to make. But realistically, his deal was bigger here. His deal was bigger here if he stays in the UFC...There's a much deeper story to this whole thing and he would've made more money if he stayed in the UFC." [14:59 - 15:18]
