The PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira round-by-round updates are here. They provide fans with real-time coverage and live scoring of the upcoming, highly anticipated heayweight title fight. The main card begins at 4:00 PM E.T. (Eastern Time) / 1:00 PM P.T. (Pacific Time).
However, the main event is projected to start at around 6:00 PM E.T. / 3:00 PM P.T. The two men clash over the inaugural PFL heavyweight superfight title, for which they will compete in a five, five-minute, round bout. However, few expect the matchup to make it out of round one.
Both men are extraordinarily powerful punchers, with Ngannou having previously built his reputation as the most terrifying force in UFC heavyweight history. By the time he had left the promotion, having never lost its heavyweight title in the octagon, he was on a six-fight win streak, with five of his wins being finishes.
Similarly, Ferreira is also on a tear, having won four consecutive bouts, all of which have been stoppages, which saw him capture PFL heavyweight gold. Both men are of similar experience levels, with Ngannou being 17-3, while Ferreira is 13-3 (3). What separates them is the level of competition they've fought.
Ngannou has fought higher-quality foes than Ferreira, and has looked more impressive. However, he is aging, hasn't fought in MMA in over two years, and is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in a recent boxing match. However, he is still expected to win.
DraftKings Sportsbook lists Ngannou as a -245 favorite, while Ferreira is regarded as a +200 underdog.
