The PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants Johnny Eblen vs. Fabian Edwards round-by-round updates are here. However, the Eblen vs. Edwards matchup is estimated to start at around 4:30 PM E.T. / 1:30 PM P.T. As a championship bout, it is scheduled for five, five-minute, rounds, during which both men will compete for the vaunted Bellator middleweight title.

Eblen, the defending champion, will be eyeing his third title defense, and has good reason to be confident of emerging victorious on the card. Not only is he undefeated at 15-0, but he has already beaten Edwards, having knocked him out a year ago in his second title defense.

Edwards, however, will be determined to right that wrong. Fueled by their feud, and eager to ascend to the same championship level that his brother reached in the UFC, the 13-3 Edwards will do everything in his power to win the rematch.

Unfortunately for him, the oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook are backing Eblen, listing him as a -470 favorite. Edwards, meanwhile, is a +360 underdog.

Round 1: The round opens with a tentative approach from both men, but as they gauge each other, Eblen lands a big shot before initiating a clinch. He pins Edwards to the fence but accomplishes little else. They break, and Edwards lands an inside low kick. More low kicks from Edwards.

Eblen secures a takedown, but Edwards pops right back up to his feet. Seconds later, he's taken down again. Edwards stands once more, but is slammed right back down. Despite the ease of his takedowns, Eblen can't keep Edwards down. He gets another takedown, and the round ends with Edwards back up. 10-9 Eblen

Round 2: A quick jab lands for Edwards, as do several low kicks. Eblen fires back with his own jab. A big left straight from Edwards snaps Eblen's head back. Eblen shoots and is in on his foe's hips, completing the takedown against the fence. However, Edwards fights it. Unfortunately, it's to no avail.

Eblen gets another takedown, and this time keeps Edwards on the mat. He's in half-guard, landing elbow and ground-and-pound. He's tying up Edwards' wrist, trying to advance, but the Englishman stands back up. Eblen, however, slams him back down, controlling his back.

Edwards stand and is dragged down. The Englishman isn't deterred though, standing again. With Edwards pinned to the fence, Eblen breaks with an elbow. In the open, Edwards lands a low kick, but eats a one-two. A nice shovel uppercut lands for Edwards. 10-9 Eblen

Round 3: Edwards taps the outside of Eblen's thigh with a low kick. More low kicks land for the Englishman, before he follows up with a body kick. Eblen starts applying pressure, eating more low kicks. The champion lands some good jabs, but eats a big left straight. Edwards with a nice front kick.

Eblen tries to land a combination, but Edwards counters him with an uppercut. Edwards counters a high kick with a check hook. More kicks for Edwards, before Eblen lands a jab to the body and shoots for a takedown. He gets it with supreme ease, and Edwards is on the mat.

Eblen takes the back, mat-returning Edwards whenever he tries to stand. Finally, Edwards does stand, breaking away with a left hand. Front kicks to the body land for Edwards, as do some low kicks and a combination ending with a flying knee. Eblen shoots again, but fails to get the takedown. 10-9 Edwards

Round 4: Edwards is back to his kicks, landing to the legs and body. An Eblen level change is countered by an uppercut. Both men trade in the pocket, before they reset and Edwards keeps scoring with low kicks and front kicks. Eblen shoots for a takedown, and as has been the case, gets it easily.

He transitions to side control, but Edwards scrambles to his feet. Eblen, however, won't be denied, lifting and slamming him. Edwards stands again, but Eblen just takes him down once more. The challenger's takedown defense has been absolutely porous, but his ability to get back to his feet is exceptional.

He stands, but Eblen slams him again, only for Edwards to work his way back to his feet. They break and exchange, with Edwards landing good front kicks. 10-9 Eblen

Round 5: Low kicks for Edwards, who follows up with a combination. However, an accidental eye poke pauses the action. The fight resumes and Edwards lands his jab and front kick. Another front kick lands for him. Unfortunately, a groin kick leads to another pause in the action.

As the fight continues, Edwards pounces with more kicks, defending desperate takedowns from Eblen. A long right hook finds the mark for Edwards, followed by a body jab. Another front kick stabs Eblen's midsection. This is Edwards' best round. He's pouring it on, blasting Eblen's body.

Eblen fails on another takedown, and Edwards punishes him with more front kicks. He snaps the champion's head back with a one-two. Eblen shoots, but Edwards defends easily. Elbows and body uppercuts land for Edwards. He defends another Eblen takedown, but is briefly pinned against the fence.

They break with an Eblen elbow. Edwards stabs Eblen's body with another front kick, and intercepts a level change with a knee. A combination lands for Edwards. He just lacks the power to make his strikes count. He batters Eblen's body and they clinch to end the fight. 10-9 Edwards

Official Decision: Johnny Eblen def. Fabian Edwards via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47)
