#3. PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants suffers dismal PPV buys, despite Francis Ngannou showing

Despite widespread jubilation from fans that Francis Ngannou was victorious on his PFL debut, it appears as though the event itself wasn't a financial success.

According to a recent report by the Wrestling Observer (WON), PFL overachieved on their targets on social media and general viewership, but fell short of what they had hoped for when it came to PPV buys.

The report was shared by Jed I. Goodman on X, which revealed that despite the PPV being available on platforms such as ESPN+ and DAZN, the buys were only just over 10,000.

#2. Francis Ngannou labels UFC CEO Dana White a 'manipulator'

The bad blood between Francis Ngannou and Dana White appears to be far from over, after the former UFC heavyweight champion labeled White a 'manipulator' on social media.

'The Predator' and the UFC CEO have been trading blows with one another ever since the Cameroonian departed the promotion in January 2023. Ngannou has regularly stated their issues came from the promotion trying to lock him into an unethical contract, whereas White has claimed he left the organization to avoid facing Jon Jones.

Their rivalry has since seen another twist, however, after Jake Paul shared a clip on social media of White from three years ago. In the clip, White is telling MMA press that he'd rather Jones move to middleweight than face Ngannou.

Paul's X post then caught the attention of Francis Ngannou, who called out White:

"Divert attention to the real matter by manipulating the narrative. Lol."

#1. Donald Trump wants Joe Rogan's endorsement

Donald Trump recently made his highly anticipated appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) this week, where he asked the UFC commentator to back his presidential campaign.

During their three-hour conversation, Trump shared how he had received Elon Musk's endorsement in Butler, Pennsylvania and wanted Rogan to do the same for him in his race against Kamala Harris:

"He [Musk] gave me the nicest endorsement. You should do the same thing, Joe, because you cannot be voting for Kamala. Kamala. You’re not a Kamala person. I know you."

The 78-year-old then tried to convince Rogan further by comedically adding in Khabib Nurmagomedov to his plea:

"I have watched you for so many years. You’re not a Kamala person. You’re a Khabib person – but you’re not a Kamala person."
