Colby Covington claims Conor McGregor's time is passing in the UFC and calls him out to a fight

Colby Covington was the backup fighter for the UFC 286 headliner between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. During a press conference for the event, Covington called out Conor McGregor to a fight and spoke about how the Irishman does not have the "hunger" in him anymore:

"You know, Conor's done some great things in this sport, he's a great fighter, but his time is passing. He's made a lot of money so he just doesn't have that same hunger, and same drive that he used to when he first started fighting... If Conor wants to fight one day and do business, it's [McGregor vs. Covington] probably the biggest fight the UFC would ever do."

'Chaos' also credited himself for boosting UFC 286's pay-per-view numbers and stated that Edwards and Usman did not have any charisma and no one was there to watch them.
