Belal Muhammad talks about Conor McGregor's future
UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has cast doubt on Conor McGregor's return to the octagon, suggesting that fans may never see 'The Notorious' compete again.
Although there were plans for the Irishman to face Michael Chandler, a broken toe forced him out of that matchup in June. With Chandler now scheduled for a rematch against Charles Oliveira, McGregor has shifted his focus to Dan Hooker.
In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Muhammad shed light on his recent fiery exchange with McGregor where the Irishman labeled the 36-year-old an "abysmal zero revenue generating fighter." Muhammad sarcastically noted that McGregor's current lifestyle, marked by excessive partying, indicates he won’t be making a comeback. He said:
"This guy is always high or drunk and the only way that he's gonna imagine beating me is if he's high or drunk. There's nothing that will ever happen. He won't be coming back to 170, he won't be coming back to fighting I don't think. He needs to go back to rehab."
