Photos: Laura Sanko drops behind-the-scenes snaps with Alex Pereira and others from old Madison Square Garden PPVs ahead of UFC 309
UFC color commentator Laura Sanko has shared old pictures of herself with top UFC stars at previous events held at Madison Square Garden. The promotion will return to the iconic venue in New York City on Nov. 16 for UFC 309, headlined by legends Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
UFC 309's co-main event sees Charles Oliveira taking on Michael Chandler in a rematch. The card also features promising up-and-coming fighters like Bo Nickal, Karine Silva, and Mauricio Ruffy, as well as veterans like Jim Miller and Chris Weidman.
Sanko recently expressed her excitement about returning to Madison Square Garden and took to Instagram to share seven old pictures of herself at the arena, which has emerged as an annual destination for the world's premier MMA promotion.
The photos include her family, Sanko interviewing Pereira after his title-winning effort over Jiri Prochazka (UFC 295), and Dustin Poirier after his win over Michael Chandler (UFC 281).

The arena has witnessed some of the greatest moments in UFC history. One such moment is Pereira knocking out Israel Adesanya to claim the middleweight title, and another is Conor McGregor knocking out Eddie Alvarez to become the first-ever simultaneous two-division champion at UFC 205, the promotion's inaugural event at MSG.
Jones was expected to headline UFC 295 in New York City last year, but an injury forced his matchup with Miocic to be postponed. They will finally lock horns later this year.
Laura Sanko shares her top five most intimidating fighters in the UFC
Laura Sanko has shared her list of the most intimidating fighters in the UFC, and it is no surprise that Shavkat Rakhmonov topped the list, as she has mentioned that she's a big fan of 'Nomad' on multiple occasions. Rakhmonov is undefeated and has an impressive UFC record of 18-0 and a 100% finish rate. He will face the reigning welterweight champion Belal Muhammad at UFC 310 on Dec. 7.
Alex Pereira is second on the list, having defended his title three times this year, followed by Khamzat Chimaev, Valentina Shevchenko, and, at number five, Roman Dolidze.
