PHOTOS: UFC champion shows proof of current weight ahead of potential title fight in May
UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is expected to defend his title for the third time in May this year. A potential matchup against former bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo is in the works but is yet to be confirmed by the promotion.
Sterling took to Instagram to post Stories that revealed his current weight and showcased his physique. The Jamaican-origin fighter looked in incredible shape having just returned from stem cell treatment in Medellin, Colombia. He also underwent treatment inside a hyperbaric chamber to aid his torn bicep's recovery.
Sterling posted pictures of himself and a reading of the scale showing his current weight of 159 pounds. The fighter has to cut another 24 pounds to make weight for his upcoming fight but has plenty of time to prepare accordingly and is in good stead already.
