Prominent UFC analyst gets candid about feeling "a little giddy" over Hulk Hogan walking Colby Covington out for UFC Tampa main event
A prominent UFC analyst recently spoke candidly about Hulk Hogan walking Colby Covington out for his main event bout against Joaquin Buckley at UFC Tampa last weekend. Despite the star studded walkout that also included his coach Chael Sonnen, 'Chaos' came up short as he lost a third-round TKO via doctor's stoppage.
The former interim welterweight champion embraced the pro wrestling legend's persona as he walked out to his WWE entrance music and then ripped his shirt prior to entering the octagon. In the days that followed, Sonnen said that Hogan was a joy to have at the event and was gracious with the fighters and staff backstage.
UFC analyst Michael Bisping also expressed his excitement about the pro wrestling legend's presence at that event and described his reaction to finding out he'd be walking 'Chaos' out. In a recent live stream on his YouTube channel, Bisping mentioned that he was happy to see Hogan at the event, but unfortunately was unable to meet him as he was working on the broadcast:
"I also enjoyed Hulk Hogan walking [Covington] out. When I heard that Hulk Hogan was going to be in the arena, I did get a little bit giddy to be fair. Would have been nice to say, 'Hello'. I never got to meet him though." [6:08]

Michael Bisping discusses negative reaction to Chael Sonnen's post-fight conversation with Colby Covington
In addition to expressing his excitement for seeing Hulk Hogan at UFC Tampa, UFC analyst Michael Bisping weighed in on negative reactions to Chael Sonnen's positive demeanor during his post-fight conversation with Colby Covington.
During the aforementioned live stream, 'The Count' shared his thoughts on the backlash Sonnen received for giving Covington a false description of the fight being more competitive than it was. Bisping mentioned that it was actually the correct approach and that 'The American Gangster' used his experience to uplift his pupil:
"That's what you do. Unless you're an absolute a**hole, nobody starts critiquing the fight and saying, 'You should've done this, you should've done that. Oh my God'. Yeah, you can have those conversations down the line but immediately when you get back to the locker room and the fighter is dejected...you try to lift their spirits and Chael's been in there...So, I thought it was really nice."
