Pereira recently posted a clip where he used the catchphrase regularly employed by the rising bantamweight fighter, who reacted to 'Poatan' mimicking his infamous 'Chiwiwis.'

ESPN MMA shared the viral clip on Instagram, where the 19-year-old seemingly approved of the champion's shenanigans.

'El Nino Problema' has a lot going for him, and a catchy phrase is among many reasons for his surging popularity.

In his last outing, Rosas Jr. picked up an impressive unanimous decision win against Aoriqileng at Noche UFC 306 at the stunning Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept. 14.

Pereira is gearing up to face the striking savant Khalil Rountree Jr. for his third title defense at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Oct. 5.

Alex Pereira invited Sean Strickland to help him prepare for UFC 307

On Oct. 5, Alex Pereira will defend his light heavyweight title for the third time. The Brazilian faces off against a deadly technician in the shape of Khalil Rountree Jr., who's riding a five-fight win streak and will try his best to cause a huge upset at Utah.

Ahead of the main event, Pereira called on his friend and former rival, Sean Strickland, to aid in his preparation against the ever-dangerous Rountree Jr. Strickland's knack for headhunting could help 'Poatan' strategize against the heavy hands of Rountree Jr., who too appears hungry for his maiden UFC gold.

'Tarzan' is known for having grueling cardio, which, combined with his 'in your face' style of putting pressure on his opponents, could prove vital for Pereira as he prepares to fight at a 4000-foot elevation in Utah next month.
