“Ready for war” - Filipino-American sensation Eddie Abasolo all fired up for ONE 169 duel against Mohamed Younes Rabah

Eddie Abasolo is more than ready to unleash his full arsenal when he steps between the ropes.

The Filipino-American sensation will face Algerian sniper Mohamed Younes Rabah in a crucial featherweight Muay Thai match at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

Taking to Instagram, Abasolo expressed his desire to enter the squared circle and trade limb and leather with Younes Rabah in Bangkok.

Eddie Abasolo wrote:

"Focused and ready for war. November 8, the grind doesn't stop."

Abasolo is one of the most stylish fighters in the promotion, and his nickname 'Silky Smooth' is a testament to his free-flowing style between the ropes.

The 37-year-old star, however, has hit a rough patch in his run and wants nothing more than to pull away with a statement win against Younes Rabah in the capital city of Thailand.

Abasolo plans to channel the same power he had when he dominated multi-time Muay Thai world champion Niclas Larsen for the knockout win at ONE Fight Night 8.

Younes Rabah, however, is no easy opponent to put down.

The 27-year-old stands at lanky tall 6-foot-2 and is four inches taller than Abasolo.

That massive height advantage won't be the only puzzle Abasolo has to solve in Bangkok. Younes Rabah also holds devastating power despite fighting from a distance.

Younes Rabah was on a perfect 14-0 start in his career before falling to Thai slugger Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 19.

Abasolo's pivotal matchup against Younes Rabah and the entire ONE 169 card are available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
