Ryan Garcia charged with one misdemeanor count of vandalism in last month's incident in LA

Ryan Garcia's myriad of troubles in and out of the ring has been well-documented in the past few months. His bizarre social media antics in the lead-up to his bout with Devin Haney last April had everyone concerned for Garcia's mental health. He then missed weight by 3.2 pounds.

After winning the fight via a majority decision, Garcia was flagged for using Ostarine, a banned performance-enhancing drug (PED). He was fined $1.1 million, and the bout was subsequently ruled a No-Contest.

Outside the ring, Garcia was also sued by former associate Logan Paul for defamation while the WBC suspended him for racial slurs during a social media livestream. 'King' eventually retired from boxing at the age of 25, citing his mishaps mentioned above, including his mother's bout with cancer.

His troubles didn't end there, however, as Garcia got charged with misdemeanor vandalism in an incident that happened in LA weeks ago. Journalist Michael Benson made the initial report on the charge on X, saying:

"Ryan Garcia has been charged with one misdemeanour count of vandalism after being arrested last month for allegedly vandalising the Waldorf Astoria hotel in LA. [@ESPN]"
