While unusual, taking a break from training camp to play football seemed to have unlocked something within all three fighters ahead of their most recent outings inside the circle.

Tawanchai narrowly defended the 155-pound Muay Thai crown against 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut at ONE 167 this past June via majority decision.

'Jojo' returned to the win column with a first-round knockout of Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena.

Meanwhile, Superbon is coming off a flawless first-round finish of Nattawut in their Muay Thai enocunter at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27.

Superbon wants world title rematch with Tawanchai next

Superbon hopes his statement knockout of Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81 will lead to a rematch with Tawanchai for 26 pounds of featherweight Muay Thai gold.

The top-ranked ONE featherweight Muay Thai competitor, who nearly dethroned Tawanchai in December 2023, said in an interview with ONE:

"Of course, I want to challenge Tawanchai to snatch his belt. My goal is to be a champion. I'm here to win and be the champion."
