Regian Eersel hints at a familiar strategy for Alexis Nicolas rematch: “Aggressive and going forward”
Surinamese striking ace Regian Eersel has something in mind when he enters the Circle for a rematch against the only person who defeated him in this organization, Alexis Nicolas.
Earlier in April, Eersel had to let his ONE lightweight kickboxing world title go after Nicolas edged the scorecards in their first encounter. But now, he is seeking revenge.
Believing he has a challenger's mentality and a brand new game plan, Eersel wants to make sure he stays aggressive and always picking up the pace to overwhelm his tormentor.
He shared this new perspective with MMA UK YouTube channel in a recent interview, saying that the fans will see an improved version of himself.
'The Immortal' said:
"Not a completely different Regian, but still the same- aggressive, moving forward, but this time, I will be smarter. I’ll just say, come watch on October 5th."
He added:
"The strategy will be different, but my fighting goal is still the same; aggressive and going forward. And, yeah, just fight toe to toe, like I always do."
