ONE Championship fans hope to witness Danielle Kelly rematch newly crowned ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion Mayssa Bastos at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 inside the State Farm Arena.
In an Instagram post featuring her world title tilt with Bastos at ONE Fight Night 24 this past August, the former 115-pound submission grappling queen captioned the photo:
"Who wants to see me compete soon? ππ»ββοΈπΊπΈπ€·π»ββοΈ"
Fans flocked to the comments section to persuade the world's largest martial arts promotion to add Kelly and Bastos' world title redo to ONE 169: Atlanta:
"Rematch in the US! Not sure if Atlanta is too soon for you, but would love to see you on that card!"
"I do! Still feel like you won that last match as well @daniellekellybjj"
"We all do let's go already πππ€π¦"
"Please fight soon!!!" I wanna see some knees popping lol."
"Me! Always excited to see you get in the ring! From underdog to a champion, you've done great!"
Bastos and Kelly's ONE atomweight submission grappling world championship bout at ONE Fight Night 24 featured an exchange of leg locks, which would have forced other opponents to tap out instantly.
With the nine-time BJJ world champion emerging victorious by unanimous decision, Kelly's three-fight winning streak in ONE came to an unfortunate end.
