Reported reason why Kamala Harris was 'blocked' from going on Joe Rogan's podcast

According to multiple reports, Kamala Harris was set to make an appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast The Joe Rogan Experience prior to the presidential elections to make her case against Donald Trump. However, that didn't happen and we may now know why.

Cenk Uygur recently explained on his social media why Harris failed to appear on Rogan's podcast. Uygur is a political commentator who founded the show 'The Young Turks.' The former Democratic presidential candidate took to X and stated that the PC staffers did not want Harris to promote the 57-year-old, writing:

''Apparently some PC staffers had a role in blocking Kamala from going on Rogan. Presumably in their minds, they didn’t want to platform him. You’re not getting it! You’re not in control of the message anymore. Kamala wasn’t platforming Rogan, Rogan would have been platforming her!''

In another X post, Uygur blasted the Democratic Party for failing to capitalize on Rogan's massive podcast audience, writing:

''Any party dumb enough to not want 50 million views for FREE, doesn’t deserve to win. Next time, don’t pick a candidate so incompetent they had to turn down hundreds of millions dollars in earned media because they were afraid she couldn’t make her own case.''

Financial Times also reported why Harris did not participate in Rogan's podcast. According to Jennifer Palmieri, a senior adviser to the 60-year-old's husband Doug Emhoff, there were concerns about progressive retaliation. She stated:

''There was a backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it, and how there would be a backlash''

During one of his podcast episodes, Rogan revealed that Harris' hectic campaign schedule prevented her from appearing on his show. The UFC commentator stated in another episode of his podcast that he intended to speak candidly with Harris despite all the limitations imposed by her representatives.

Bernie Sanders discusses appearing on Joe Rogan's podcast

Bernie Sanders recently chastised the Democrats for their stand on Joe Rogan. Sanders asserted that despite all the differences, political leaders ought to appear on Rogan's podcast and have a significant discussion with him.

In a recent interview with CNN, Sanders talked about his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience:

''Look, you’re going to have an argument with Rogan, agree with him, disagree with him. But, what’s the problem with going on those shows? It’s hard for me to understand that.''
