‘Reug Reug’ warns Anatoly Malykhin about the dangers of taking him lightly: “I’m very different from those guys”
Things got extremely testy between heavyweight MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin and his next challenger 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane during the ONE 169 press conference.
Before nearly coming to blows in their heated faceoff, the two hulking behemoths also threw unpleasantries at each other while answering questions for the media.
Needless to say, there's no love lost between the headlining acts of the star-studded ONE 169 event on Nov. 8 inside the fabled halls of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
At one point, the outspoken Malykhin kept mocking the Senegalese monster by referring to him as "slow mo."
This prompted an angry response from 'Reug Reug', who warned the Russian triple champ of the perils that come from counting him out.
As far as the Dakar, Senegal native is concerned, Malykhin has never met an adversary of his caliber.
"Shut your mouth. I’m very different from those guys. Very very different from those guys that he beat. I’m a natural heavyweight, and I’m a natural champion."
One thing's for sure, Malykhin and 'Reug Reug' can't wait to get inside the ring and tear each other's heads off.

'Reug Reug' says he'll silence Anatoly Malykhin by knocking him out and taking his title
Malykhin has never tasted defeat in 14 career bouts. Quite frankly, the Russian conqueror breezed through everyone in his path en route to three-weight supremacy and a ridiculous 100 percent career finishing rate.
Still, 'Reug Reug' remains unfazed by the seemingly insurmountable challenge that awaits him.
In his pre-event interview with Nick Atkin, the 32-year-old challenger said he'll end Malykhin's heavyweight MMA reign in the most violent way imaginable:
"I am ready for everything. I'm going to kill this guy. I'm going to knock him out. I'm going to shut his mouth, this guy."
ONE 169 will air live in US primetime free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in North America.
