Rising star Adrian Lee can't wait to showcase his talents on American soil: "It means a lot to me"

Rising MMA star Adrian Lee is thrilled about competing in front of his friends and family on US soil for the first time with ONE Championship.

The teenage sensation dreams of becoming the next big star just like his older brother Christian Lee, the lightweight and welterweight MMA king, and retired ONE atomweight MMA world champion, Angela Lee.

Happy about the opportunity to fight in the country where he was born, Lee is hoping he can put on a show on September 6 and win his second professional bout.

Ahead of ONE 168: Denver, Lee told ONE:

"It means a lot to me. I'm extremely excited to have my second fight on U.S. soil because me and my family, we've never competed in this level stage in the U.S. before."

Ever since Adrian Lee was a kid, there was never a moment when his parents didn't involve him or his siblings in their martial arts training. Fast-forward to the present day, Lee has become a wrestling phenom and a four-time National Youth MMA Champion.

Entering his second bout as a professional fighter, there's no doubt that Adrian Lee will live up to our expectations with another incredible finish.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.

"I plan on finishing it first round" - Adrian Lee plans on finishing Nico Cornejo in the first round of their lightweight war at ONE 168: Denver

Early this summer, Adrian Lee captured his first professional win by way of stoppage against Australia's Antonio Mammarella at ONE 167.

It took the 18-year-old about eight minutes to execute his punishing game plan, which leads us to believe that he can probably do it again in half that time against Nico Cornejo.

In the same interview, Lee told ONE:

"I plan on finishing it first round, either TKO, KO, or submission, whatever comes first."
