Takeru Segawa has still got so much more to give when competing under the ONE Championship banner. The Japanese superstar is one of the most exciting strikers in the world, and though he didn't get the win, he showed that on his debut.

Coming up short against Superlek in the main event of ONE 165 is a defeat that happened at the very highest level of kickboxing.

The two men put on an incredible back-and-forth encounter in Japan that Takeru had moments in despite losing the fight on the scorecards. After a tough few opening rounds, he found a way into the fight by targeting his opponent's body.

From here, he unleashed the true power of his hand speed and shot selection by trying to get his man out of there.
