Ryan Garcia issues an apology for racist remarks

Ryan Garcia addressed his racist remarks in the aforementioned Instagram post and issued an apology for those who felt he offended them. The comments resulted in the 25-year-old being removed from having association with the WBC and also the realization that he needed to enter rehab.

'KingRy' was adamant that his intentions were in the right place, but understands why there was criticism. Garcia mentioned that he was discussing black on black crime and expressed his love for the community. He wrote:

"I've supported many black men and many black communities. I'm not mad at the outrage and I sincerely apologize if I hurt and offended anyone. But my pain deserves to be felt, black and brown have always united. And it will always be that way...I was actually speaking against black on black crime...Again I'm sorry."
