Ryan Garcia asserts that focus has shifted from critical global challenges, says "WW3" is upon us: "Y'all worried about the wrong things"
In his absence from boxing, Ryan Garcia is worried about the political state of the world. Though he cannot return to the ring until 2025, Garcia expressed his concern for humanity's general state on social media.
The boxer warned people about "worrying about the wrong things," saying that he predicts a third World War is impending. Garcia also claimed that the United Kingdom is "in shambles" as further evidence to back his statement.
Garcia tweeted:
"Y'all worried about the wrong things. WW3 is among us. The UK is in shambles. Market is crashing and war is every war."
The 25-year-old did not state the motivation behind his tweet but posted his thoughts shortly after international news sources reported an increase in violent crime in the United Kingdom.
While he keeps his social media activity up, 'KingRy' remains suspended from competing in boxing until April 20, 2025, barring a setback. The 24-1 prodigy continues to serve his time for testing positive for ostarine in his last fight with Devin Haney.
Garcia's political tweet was also posted three months ahead of the 2024 United States presidential election, the next major international event.
Who is Ryan Garcia voting for in the 2024 United States presidential election?
In the upcoming US presidential election, Ryan Garcia has been vocal in his support for Donald Trump. Like many UFC fighters and a select group of American boxers, Garcia is seemingly fully behind the former president to resume his former role as commander-in-chief.
Garcia endorsed Trump in his own unique way earlier in April, shortly as a part of his victory tour after his fight with Devin Haney. At the time, 'KingRy' believed he had beaten Haney as it was before the official result was overturned to a no-contest.
Garcia did not mention whether he planned on voting but was direct in his support of the Republican candidate.
