Ryan Garcia reacts to Joe Biden's endorsement of Kamala Harris for the first female US President

Ryan Garcia has never been a traditional political person but could not avoid the slate of current events in the United States. One week after the botched assassination attempt of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, current president Joe Biden confirmed that he would not re-run for office later in 2024, causing a response from Garcia.

In his announcement, Biden declared that he would instead endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in her pursuit of becoming the first female president of the United States. Garcia responded, mistakenly referring to Harris as "Kamala Harrison" while calling the situation "comical."

Should Harris represent the Democratic party in the 2024 United States presidential election, she would be the first female to run for office since Hillary Clinton lost to Trump in 2016. Trump served four years until he lost his re-election campaign in 2020 to Biden, who was previously Vice President to Barack Obama.

Harris is currently the first female to serve as the United States Vice President, making her the highest-ranking woman in American history. The 59-year-old is also the first African-American and Asian-American to hold the position in office.

Ryan Garcia predicts Donald Trump will "destroy" Kamala Harris

Not only does Ryan Garcia believe that Kamala Harris will lose her campaign to Donald Trump in the presidential election but predicts that the Republican candidate will "destroy" her in a debate.

Following his initial reaction to Harris being publicly backed by Joe Biden, Garcia tweeted:

"I cannot wait till Donald Trump destroys Kamala Harris in the debate."

Last competing in the ring in April, Ryan Garcia is not eligible to return to boxing until 2025 after the Nevada State Athletic Commission found him guilty of using Ostarine in his bout with Devin Haney. 'King Ry' has teased a move to MMA while serving his suspension and has remained active on social media but is believed to be waiting out his punishment before potentially rematching Haney once available.
