Ryan Garcia voices support for Donald Trump after the former US president is found guilty in hush money case

Ryan Garcia recently expressed his backing for Donald Trump following the former US president's conviction in a hush-money case. A New York jury found Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts of unlawfully influencing the 2016 election by making a payment to an adult movie actor.

The verdict renders Trump the first former US president to face a criminal conviction, yet it does not impede his ability to campaign for another presidential term. Despite the allegations, the 77-year-old politician maintains his innocence, pleading not guilty to the charges. His sentencing is scheduled for July 11, just days prior to the Republican Party's official nomination for the upcoming November 5 election.

'KingRy', who was photographed alongside Trump and had expressed support for his re-election last month, has now taken to X to reaffirm his backing for the 45th US President amid his current legal challenges in a series of posts. Garcia wrote:

"Donald T If you are reading this, we are with you. Stay strong."

He added:

"Just like that, the new president, he will still win. Just watch."

Garcia is currently confronted with the looming threat of a ban due to his recent positive drug tests, which came after his upset win over Devin Haney. 'KingRy' tested positive for banned substances, ostarine and nandrolone. These revelations stem from two separate VADA doping tests conducted around the time of the bout.

Ryan Garcia links positive drug test findings to endorsement of Donald Trump

Ryan Garcia has consistently asserted his innocence with a perplexing stance throughout the entire steroid-testing saga, urging fans to believe in his integrity as a clean boxer.

When the doping results first surfaced online earlier in the month, 'KingRy' turned to social media and vehemently denied consuming any performance-enhancing substances.

The former interim WBC lightweight champion went on to question the rationale behind voluntarily submitting to drug testing if he were indeed using steroids. Among his numerous social media posts, he further contended that the positive results might be part of a conspiracy against him following his endorsement of Donald Trump.

On Thursday, Garcia's legal representatives issued a statement concerning his doping test, asserting that two supplement samples they had provided for testing returned positive for Ostarine due to contamination. They underscored that Garcia has never knowingly consumed prohibited substances and consistently upheld his dedication to fair competition.
