'Scary' Jon Jones is still getting better despite being the best out there, says Henry Cejudo

Coach Henry Cejudo has praised Jon Jones, claiming that the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is still improving despite already being the best in the sport.

Jones is returning to the UFC octagon in March for a highly anticipated fight against Ciryl Gane. This will be Jones' first bout in three years, after taking a break from competing. The two will be vying for the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 285.

Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo has been mentoring Jon Jones, preparing the fighter for his heavyweight debut over the past year. In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Cejudo praised Jones' willingness to learn and better himself despite being at the top of the sport, claiming it has made the Hall of Famer even scarier.

Giving his analysis of Jones' training so far, coach Cejudo had this to say:

"Just reflecting on the last few days that I had with Jones... You can teach him one thing, he comes back the next day and... he almost becomes flawless, you know. It's crazy to see the potential of how great and how good Jones could still become. You know, he's a man who... has the god-given ability. And when you teach a guy who has ability, technique like himself and is willing to learn. I mean that's what equals a straight GOAT status... As good as Jon Jones is, he's still getting better, and that's just scary."
