"You shouldn't be out there fighting for free" - Bellator president Scott Coker on Dillon Danis–Anthony Taylor scuffle
Scott Coker recently weighed in on the scuffle that took place between Dillon Danis and Anthony Taylor at the Misfits Boxing weigh-ins on Friday.
Danis attended the event and confronted famous YouTuber KSI, who helped launch Misfits Boxing. The two came face-to-face at the weigh-ins, and chaos erupted after Danis threw a punch at the YouTuber.
Former Bellator fighter Anthony Taylor appeared to take exception to Danis' actions and hurled abuse at 'El Jefe' as he followed the jiu-jitsu ace outside. Words were exchanged before Taylor landed a hefty overhand right that landed flush on Danis' cheek.
Both Danis and Taylor have previously fought in Bellator. At the post-fight press conference for Bellator 288, CEO Scott Coker was asked to share his thoughts on the fight. He stated:
"I'm not sure what to think about it. All I got to say to Anthony and Dillon is that you shouldn't be out there fighting for free. If you want to fight for free, please give me a call. But you're a professional prize fighter and you should fight in the cage or the ring. But I'm not sure what the tactics there are."

Scott Coker says he wants to go "5-0" against Rizin at Bellator vs. Rizin
Bellator and Rizin have partnered up to host a joint event on New Year's Eve. The event will see the best of Bellator's roster taking on the best of Rizin's roster.
The pair of promotions have collaborated in the past, but this event will be the first time that the best fighters in each promotion will face each other.
Scott Coker was recently interviewed by MMA Junkie and asked to share his thoughts on the upcoming event with Rizin. The Bellator CEO said:
"The more I started learning about their [Rizin] fighters, I said, 'Oh, this guy's pretty good. He better not underestimate him.' I want to go 5-0, but if my guys take it lightly then I think they're going to have their hands full."
