Sean Brady blasts critics on social media for claiming he was "fraud checked" by Belal Muhammad

Sean Brady recently put critics on blast for claiming he was exposed during his loss to Belal Muhammad. The No.8-ranked UFC welterweight discussed the hatred that is present on social media and the lengths that some go to put others down.

The 31-year-old fought 'Remember The Name' at UFC 280 in 2022, where he looked to insert his name in the welterweight title picture. He had an unbeaten 15-0 MMA record at the time but experienced his first career setback as he lost via second-round TKO.

During his pre-fight media availability ahead of this Saturday's UFC Vegas 97, the Philadelphia native sounded off on his critics for diminishing his abilities because of his previous loss to the welterweight champion. He said:

"I don't understand the fraud check thing. Twitter fu**ing sucks. It's a cesspool full of miserable, miserable people...These people on there are nuts.
"You would never say that these guys say to your face...What's getting fraud checked by a fighter who's in the top-10, top-15? I just don't understand it, so that's frustrating to see...I guess I got fraud checked by the UFC [welterweight] champion. Thanks, bro."

Who is Sean Brady fighting at UFC Vegas 97?

Sean Brady has an excellent opportunity to get back into the title picture at 170 pounds as he is scheduled to fight former title challenger Gilbert Burns this Saturday at UFC Vegas 97.

Brady comes into the fight following his impressive submission win over former TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum last December, which earned him a bonus for Performance of the Night. It was a significant win as it was his first bout following his lone career loss to Belal Muhammad the previous year.

Burns, on the other hand, will be looking to get back on track and make another title run. The 38-year-old comes into the fight following back-to-back losses to Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena.
