Sean O'Malley answers if Jake Paul vs. Andrew Tate would be bigger than 'The Problem Child's' fight against Mike Tyson

Sean O'Malley claims that a potential Jake Paul vs. Andrew Tate fight would be bigger than Paul vs. Mike Tyson, which took place on Nov. 15 this year at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event was streamed live by the OTT giant Netflix, and marked the streaming giant's entry into the world of sports broadcasting.

Paul vs. Tyson was streamed by over 100 million viewers. Leading up to the event, many criticized Paul, 27, for seeking a fight with Tyson, who entered the ring at the age of 58. Despite these criticisms, the event still attracted a massive audience, making it Netflix's most watched live event.

Paul clinched the victory against ‘Iron Mike’ via unanimous decision. Following the win, the controversial influencer Andrew Tate called out Paul for a boxing match. In a recent YouTube video with his coach Tim Welch and a few other guests, O'Malley discussed the potential fight between Andrew Tate and Jake Paul and predicted that it would be bigger than the Tyson fight. The former UFC bantamweight champion said:

“Yes right now 100% that's a win-win for a lot of people they would want to see either (Jake Paul and Andrew Tate) of them lose people are going to be excited.”

Sean O'Malley mocks Merab Dvalishvili and expresses his desire to fight him in April next year

Merab Dvalishvili's next opponent is yet to be announced by the UFC since he won the bantamweight title against Sean O'Malley. Initially, it was believed that Umar Nurmagomedov would fight the winner of O'Malley vs. Dvalishvili. However, that’s no longer the case. The reigning bantamweight champion has shown little interest in fighting Nurmagomedov and instead, has made it clear that he would prefer to rematch O'Malley. Furthermore, following Petr Yan's recent win over Deiveison Figueiredo, the Russian called out Dvalishvili, who answered Yan's callout and accepted to fight him.

In the aforementioned video, the former bantamweight champion mocked the Georgian fighter for seemingly ducking Nurmagomedov and discussed the landscape of the bantamweight division, saying:

'Umar [Nurmagomedov] wants to fight Merab [Dvalishvili] in January, Petr [Yan] wants to fight Merab in March. I want to fight Merab in April. Merab is absolutely s***ing himself terrified of Umar, he doesn’t want to fight Umar. Now he wants to fight Petr, he wants to fight me… Petr got 50-45’d to Merab!” (3:15)
