In a recent episode of The BrOMalley Show on YouTube, O'Malley addressed those who claimed that he looked nervous in the above video. Revealing that the interaction was friendly, 'Sugar' said:

"Didn't feel awkward, I've met them both before... Then I saw Aljo say... That I was scared or something... I thought it was friendly. I was just in line getting some food and they walked over."

Sean O'Malley further revealed that he has signed a new eight-fight contract with the UFC and even claimed that he negotiated the terms himself:

"I will say I did re-sign with the UFC. I got a very gracious contract that I’m proud of. I offered that, I asked for this, they said no, they said yes... I got a number that I’m very happy with."

The 31-year-old will face reigning featherweight champion and pound-for-pound king Volkanovski in Australia on February 12.
