Sean O'Malley fears for Ryan Garcia after recent arrest for felony vandalism: "He’s going to kill himself"
Sean O'Malley shared his thoughts on Ryan Garcia getting arrested for vandalism in California. The UFC bantamweight champion expressed concern over some comments that Garcia made about harming himself and admitted that it scared him.
Garcia was recently arrested at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills for allegedly damaging hotel property in his room and hallway. Due to the damages costing over $400, his legal charges were classified as a felony case of vandalism. This isn't Garcia's first run-in with the law this month. The police also responded to a welfare assist call made by Garcia's family last week at the same hotel.
During this time, 'KingRy' also uploaded a series of tweets regarding his mother's health. The boxing superstar tragically revealed that his mother had been diagnosed with cancer and threatened to unalive himself if something were to happen to her.
During an episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, O'Malley addressed Garcia's ongoing ordeals and expressed concern for the 25-year-old boxer's mental and physical health. He said:
"He probably got blacked out, f**ked up... I get f**king blacked, you know? All hell breaks loose... He's got issues. Did you see him talking about his mom having cancer and then if she dies, he's going to kill himself type sh*t? Did you see that? That's f**king scary... He's not doing good."

Ryan Garcia's lawyer issues statement after boxer asked to pay for $15,000 in damages for felony vandalism
As mentioned above, Ryan Garcia was recently taken away by the police on felony vandalism charges from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In the aftermath, the prestigious establishment wanted the boxer to cough up $15,000 to cover the cost of the damages he caused.
It's worth mentioning that there's no clear information on the exact nature of Garcia's destructive actions at the hotel. Following his arrest, 'KingRy' was reportedly transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for evaluation after he complained of suffering from some undisclosed medical issue.
Garcia's lawyer and legal representative, Darin Chavez, recently opened up on his client's actions. Chavez referenced the boxer potentially facing suspension for a positive ostarine test before the Devin Haney fight and said:
"An extraordinarily challenging time for Ryan, as he has been grappling with devastating news regarding his mother's health. Ryan has been open about his struggles with mental health over the years, and at this time he is dealing with an immense emotional burden" [H/T ESPN.in]
