Sean O'Malley and Logan Paul talk about his shallow pool dive accident
YouTube megastar Logan Paul was in attendance for Sean O'Malley's fight at UFC 264 in Las Vegas back in July 2021.
The Paul brothers (Logan Paul and his younger brother Jake Paul) are friends with O'Malley and have partied with the UFC bantamweight on multiple occasions.
On that note, it was during a UFC 264 afterparty that Logan Paul witnessed O'Malley's infamous shallow pool diving accident.
'Sugar' beat Kris Moutinho via third-round TKO at UFC 264 and subsequently attended a pool party with the older Paul brother. O'Malley recalled the story during an appearance on Paul's Impaulsive podcast later in 2021.

Sean O'Malley explained that he dove head first into the shallow end of a swimming pool at the party venue and hurt his head.
Meanwhile, Logan Paul confirmed the same. O'Malley has now posted a throwback video to his YouTube channel, featuring his conversation with Paul about the incident. Revisiting the same, 'Sugar' stated:
"Dude, last time I wore these shoes -- Dude, I literally just [jumped] head first, boom!"
Logan Paul chimed in and said:
"One of those pools where it's a gradual decrease to get deeper and deeper -- So, you were probably in like, less than a foot of water. Bro, imagine. Bro, he sprint-dived." Proceeding to jestingly mimic O'Malley, Paul added, 'I hit my head!'"
O'Malley smiled, agreed with Paul, and suggested that he probably did sound disoriented after hurting his head. Paul replied by highlighting that he felt bad for 'Sugar' after his fall.
Furthermore, the video also featured O'Malley's coach Tim Welch wading through the crowd of partygoers to check on him.

Aljamain Sterling claims the UFC is buying time to let Sean O'Malley improve his grappling
In a recent edition of The Weekly Scraps podcast, UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling insinuated that he's likely to defend his title against former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo.
Nevertheless, Sterling acknowledged that Sean O'Malley recently won his number-one contender's matchup against Petr Yan and that 'Sugar', not Cejudo, should fight him next.
'Funk Master' emphasized that despite Sean O'Malley deserving the next title shot, the UFC won't book them against each other, as O'Malley's grappling isn't good enough yet.
'Aljo' claimed that in a recent meeting with the UFC brass, they alluded that he'd dominate O'Malley on the ground and that 'Sugar' needs more time to improve his grappling. Sterling said:
"That's what they said, like, 'We know your grappling is a lot better, and he [O'Malley] needs time to pretty much close the gap.'"
