Sean O'Malley recently weighed in on Conor McGregor and his now-deleted cryptic tweet about authoring a book on "dead rats."

On a recent episode of O'Malley's podcast, the BROMALLEY Show, 'Sugar' shared his opinion of the tweet and the No.1-ranked UFC bantamweight seemed to relate to the Irishman's emotions behind wanting to write a book. He stated:

"See, that's a good tweet. You know what I mean? I've been that h*rny. He's a goofball dude... I've been watching a bunch of YouTube stuff on Conor. F**k, I miss Conor fights."

While Conor McGregor is known to go on disjointed Twitter tirades from time to time, it may be assumed that his ongoing legal feud with Artem Lobov might be the inspiration behind the tweet. In recent months, 'The Notorious' has referred to his former long-time friend and training partner as a "rat," among other colorful names.

Conor McGregor is highly expected to make his return to the UFC octagon next year after being sidelined for over a year. The Irish superstar suffered a nasty leg fracture during his fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and has since undergone surgery and recovery processes.

Sean O'Malley says he misses watching Conor McGregor fight in the UFC octagon

In the same podcast episode, Sean O'Malley took a trip down memory lane. He recalled the excitement Conor McGregor brought every time the Irishman stepped into the octagon.

With the biggest superstar to ever come out of the UFC speculatively returning next year, fans and fighters alike have already bought into the hype and are eagerly looking forward to the former two-division UFC champion competing.

During the aforementioned episode, Sean O'Malley spoke about McGregor's return and the anticipation surrounding the events he competes in. 'Sugar' claimed that the leadup to 'The Notorious'' fights is what he enjoys the most, saying:

"I've been watching a lot of YouTube stuff on Conor {McGregor}. F**k, I miss Conor fights. Dude, I want to see a Conor fight soon. The leadup... Dude, the old 2016 or '15 Conor, that was the best time. The best time in sports. But yeah, you know what I mean, I miss a good Conor scrap."

While no opponent has been officially confirmed yet, it is thought that Michael Chandler is the most likely candidate to welcome Conor McGregor back. 'Iron' had emphatically called out McGregor after his win at UFC 274.
