Sean O'Malley vows to take advantage of Merab Dvalishvili's cut at Noche UFC 306
Sean O'Malley has promised fans he intends to open up the cut on Merab Dvalishvili's head during their UFC 306 main event bout on Sept. 14.
Last month, 'The Machine' shared a video on social media of him getting a cut above his eye stitched up by a doctor. Dana White later criticized Dvalishvili for posting it online, and O'Malley has now had his say.
As per 'Suga', who was speaking to Kevin Iole, it was a mistake by Dvalishvili to reveal he had a cut of any type, as he now intends to exploit it during their fight. He said:
"I am a 100% going to open up that cut whether it's healed or not... I don't know how much it can heal, I've never really had any bad cuts so I'm not sure. But I'm gonna be, you know, that's the left side of his face, this right hand doesn't miss. So yeah, It just adds I think, I'll probably accidentally hit his nose before I hit that cut. The nose just kind of takes up like 85% of his face. So I'm gonna try and get around his nose to get to that cut."
