Sean O'Malley speculates why Rose Namajunas lost against Gillian Robertson in under 2 minutes
Sean O'Malley recently gave his take on Rose Namajunas losing to Gillian Robertson via submission in just 65 seconds at the Fury Pro Grappling 6 event.
After losing her strawweight title against Carla Esparza in May of 2022, Namajunas returned to the combat sports scene with a grappling match against 'The Savage' at Fury Pro Grappling 6 on December 30.
Unfortunately, 'Thug Rose' suffered another defeat as Robertson forced her opponent to tap in under two minutes.

On a recent episode of TimboSugarShow, Sean O'Malley weighed in on the matchup and offered an explanation as to how a capable grappler like Rose Namajunas was beaten so quickly. Before iterating that Robertson herself has the most submission wins in UFC women's history, 'Sugar' stated:
"I guess we don't know her schedule but she trains more with MMA jiu-jitsu people. That's more her practice, it's probably around that, whereas some people like Gillian, I think, does Gi. She does real f*****g jiu-jitsu... Training real jiu-jitsu in a Gi or even a No-Gi but doing real jiu-jitsu is way different than MMA jiu-jitsu. So much different."

Sean O'Malley showers high praise on Floyd Mayweather for his work ethic
Sean O'Malley recently hailed boxing legend Floyd Mayweather's incredible work ethic and claimed that watching videos of the unbeaten boxer inspired him to chase the same undefeated status.
Speaking on the latest episode of TimboSugarShow (#219), O'Malley had a fanboy moment and spoke about how one of the greatest boxers to ever grace the square ring inspired him.
'Sugar' pointed out Mayweather's intense training regime and stated:
"I was watching a bunch of Floyd stuff, but that motherf**ker would train like three or four times a day, like an hour at a time... Dude, it's so f**king sweet. 50-0, retired at the top, didn't lose. It's inspirational. I'm trying to be 50-0... Didn't get knocked out. Had some hard fights. Fought the best guys. Just his work ethic."
Sean O'Malley further went on to praise the legendary boxer for maintaining his record despite his colorful lifestyle, saying:
"You don't get 50-0, you don't become Floyd without a crazy work ethic... It's constantly running, hitting the bag, hitting mitts but it's like that motherf**ker had chicks around him all day when he wasn't so he found balance. He has some serious genes, some serious athletic genes."
