Sean Strickland claps back at "scum" Khamzat Chimaev’s post-training mock: "You su*ked off a dictator for a G wagon"
Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev continued their heated exchange on social media, with Strickland adding fuel to the fire through two new tweets. The former middleweight champion took to X to clap back at Chimaev, escalating their ongoing feud.
Things started to go awry after the Chechen fighter's impressive victory over Robert Whittaker, submitting him in the first round at UFC 308. This sparked a debate about whether he, rather than the American fighter, should be next in line for a title shot against Dricus du Plessis.
However, the UFC recently announced that 'Tarzan' will face the reigning middleweight champion at UFC 312. A few days ago, 'Borz' shared a picture of himself holding a gun, with a caption directed at Strickland, asking, "Where are you?" Once again, he has now shared an old picture, seemingly taken after a sparring session, featuring himself and Strickland.
Strickland responded to Chimaev’s tweet with a sharp dig, mocking the Chechen fighter for his alleged involvement in a Bitcoin scam and questioning if he was avoiding the authorities. He wrote:
“Lmao sorry I don’t speak Chechnyian wh**e... Kadyrov loosen up his leash? You got any Bitcoin scams to peddle? You hiding from any dictators?”
Strickland continued, posting another comment aimed at discrediting the Chechen fighter’s character. He wrote:
“Bro literally is scum. I took a hard picture because I'm a small man and have to act tough you s**ked off a dictator for a G wagon and then had to flee to the middle east.. bro isn't even a f**king man at this point..... Character level.. dog sh*t.”
Middleweight fighter compares sparring styles of Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev
Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev are known for going as hard in sparring sessions as they do in their fights, often pushing their training partners to the limit. Middleweight UFC fighter Caio Borralho, during his appearance on Inside Fighting, compared the sparring styles of Strickland and Chimaev:
“Different styles, you know? Strickland, tremendous gas tank, good striking, always puts pressure all the time, and other side, Khamzat puts pressure all the time but with his grappling. So definitely, I cannot say who is the hardest, but both are definitely hard guys to spar.”
