Sean Strickland cracks NSFW "gay" joke about Xtreme Couture stable mate
Sean Strickland is perhaps one of the most unfiltered personalities in the UFC today. His contentious views on LGBTQ issues, gun control, and other topics have been the cause of significant debate and have ultimately led to the suspension of his social media accounts in the past.
Yet social media outlets' warnings won't stop Strickland from speaking up. This time, it was against fellow UFC middleweight contender Edman Shahbazyan, who was the target of his NSFW (not safe for work) joke.
Sean Strickland and Edmen Shahbazyan train together at the Xtreme Couture facility in Las Vegas. 'Tarzan' launched a seemingly repulsive joke based on Shahbazyan's refusal to look at his cup after a training session. According to Strickland, this activity constitutes an exhibition of homosexual behavior and might be interpreted as "signs" that an individual is gay:
"I was trying to show @edmenshahbazyan my cup and he wouldn't look because [of] my c**k.. You guys lay in bed at night je**ing off to random d**ks but you can't even look at your buddies c**k while showing you the best nut protection... I think that might be a sign you're a gay......"

Sean Strickland next fight: Who should 'Tarzan' face next?
Sean Strickland had already made news for his unprecedented run as the main event in back-to-back UFC events prior to UFC Vegas 67. Strickland was last seen inside the octagon when he stepped in as a last-minute replacement for the injured Kelvin Gastelum in the first UFC event of 2023.
After suffering two straight losses, the UFC middleweight contender bounced back with a convincing unanimous decision victory against Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Vegas 67. The fight also marked his debut in the light heavyweight division. With the victory over Imavov, Strickland joined UFC superstar Conor McGregor and Jared Cannonier as the only fighters to hold victories in three separate weight classes.
There has been no news about Sean Strickland's next fight, but a matchup with fellow middleweight contender Paulo Costa would make a lot of sense. Both competitors are known for speaking their minds, which should make for an entertaining fight. After re-signing with the UFC, Costa said he was looking forward to fighting both Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev.
