Sean Strickland explains his hesitation for removing "black homeless" man from his area: "I have a zero tolerance"
Former UFC middleweight champ Sean Strickland is famous for his unflinching honesty on topics, like immigration, gender identities, and overall issues in the world today. In a recent string of tweets, 'Tarzan' expressed his moral dilemma regarding his disapproval of homeless people camping near his residence.
Taking it to X, Strickland said:
"I have a zero tolerance for homeless people in my neighborhood.. I'll burn down a tent, fight a bum idc....But there is a homeless guy here who is black..I just don't know if I feel right saying "we don't want you here" why can't he be a white bum :/"
Hilarious. There's a sliver of sarcasm in Strickland's words. It's quite obvious the former UFC middleweight king is poking fun at a serious issue in America today but we see how he's injecting a little bit of levity and ironic humor on serious matters.
Sean Strickland gets jokingly called out by fan on X, stand corrected after
Continuing this string of tweets, fans unsurprisingly engaged Sean Strickland in his trail of thought, also throwing a few bits of sarcasm here and there. One fan, who goes by Conservative News Feed, replied to the aforementioned tweet:
"This isn’t the equality MLK [Martin Luthor King Jr] fought for.
The former UFC middleweight champ jokingly replied to the tweet with:
"Bro straight f*ck..... you're right by me even thinking it I'm part of the problem f*ck.... thank you for showing me my inner bias.. f*ck that bum I'm throwing a can at him."
Another fan, who goes by Kovo Gabo, kept the ball rolling with:
"Imagine being a bum and waking up to Sean Strickland hitting you with a can while shouting 'MLK sends his regards, you stupid j*nkie!'"
Strickland is having fun here while still expressing his firm beliefs and principles. Apart from being a ferocious warrior in the cage, this is why he's beloved by his fans. The man is not afraid to speak his mind.
