Sean Strickland goes ballistic on "anti-American" Harley Davidson in latest rant, slams $4.28 billion-worth company's "utter POS" electric bike
Like many motorcycle enthusiasts, Sean Strickland was enraged by Harley Davidson's decision to go electric. In a recent post on X, the former UFC middleweight champion slammed the American manufacturer.
Harley's new LiveWire eclectic motorcycle sold less than 100 units in the last quarter, contributing over $100 million in projected losses for the 4.28 billion company.
Dealers have also pointed to the company's DEI (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion) parameters as yet another factor that might have contributed to the lower sales. To be fair, Harley did pump breaks on many of their inclusivity measures earlier this year.
However, Strickland, well-known for his anti-woke sentiment, has not forgiven the motorcycle manufacturer. In a recent rant on X, 'Tarzan' slammed CEO Jochen Zeitz, faulting him for cutting down on American manufacturing:
"Harley Davidson is the definition of anti-American values. The CEO received 45 million and they're getting rid of American manufacturing and firing Americans to pay a German woke zealot 45 million dollars. Harley has to go, we got to let it [Tombstone emoji]."

The UFC star then took aim at Harley's new eclectic offering, calling it an "utter POS" in a subsequent post:
"50-minute charge time, 140 miles of range. Realistically probably 90 90-mile range, 115 top speed. I'm convinced Harley Davidson went out of their way to make an utter POS... It's like they didn't even try."

When Sean Strickland got brutally honest about why he drives a Hyundai Accent
While he is one of the most known names in the UFC, Sean Strickland is not known for sporting an extravagant lifestyle. 'Tarzan' drives a Hyundai Accent, a humble set of wheels for a former champion.
However, the Anaheim native has a good reason for choosing the economical driving option over a luxury car. During a podcast segment, the 33-year-old explained that driving a Hyundai is his way of preventing himself from succumbing to societal pressures:
"The reason why I drive like a s****y Hyundai is one - I'm cheap, but the entire world makes you feel inadequate in everything we do, from what you wear, to what you drive. You're born looking at Audi and Mercedes commercials. We are raising a generation of boys who judge their character by what they drive and what they wear. I don't want to participate in making people feel you are not enough."
