"Can't even defend him anymore" - MMA fans slam Sean Strickland after latest religious take
Almost every time controversial former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland opens his mouth, it ruffles some feathers. With the rather divisive topic of religion in the conversation, one can bet Strickland has some strong opinions.
In a recent X post, Strickland shared his response to a video by Jon Oleksiuk which used AI to defend three major religious figures.

However, many users on X were unhappy with Strickland's message.
Several slammed the former UFC champion with some wanting other MMA stars to take on 'Tarzan'.
One X user wanted Khamzat Chimaev or Nassourdine Imavov to beat Strickland up:
"Can’t wait for Imavov or Chimaev to get some hands on you. They gonna do you worse than your dad ever could"
One used an old Khabib Nurmagomedov video to share their thoughts on Strickland.
Another fan suggested that there was no way to defend the former champion anymore:
"Sad from Sean. Can't even defend him anymore."
Sean Strickland criticized for his MMA performances
While Sean Strickland is a controversial figure due to his takes on world events and more, 'Tarzan' was recently called out for his performances in the UFC.
The former UFC middleweight champion had the chance to win the belt back against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 312. However, Strickland put up a poor performance and was defeated in a lopsided decision.
Dillon Danis, who has trained with UFC great Conor McGregor, posted that Strickland' trash talking style doesn't translate to performances inside the octagon.
"The way Strickland talks and the way he fights doesn't go together."
This message was written by Danis after Full Violence, a popular MMA account, posted a bloodied image of Strickland from the fight.
Strickland has 14 wins via decision in his MMA career while 15 have come via stoppage. Hhis last four fights have all gone the distance with two losses for 'Tarzan'.
