Sean Strickland injures himself while doing wheelies on his motorcycle: "I'm an idiot"
Former UFC middleweight champ Sean Strickland has taken fans on a wild ride in his Instagram stories today, so to speak. According to his stories, 'Tarzan' attempted and seemingly failed to do wheelies on his motorcycle today. This resulted in some gnarly injuries sustained by the former champion.
For those who are unaware, a "wheelie" is a bike trick that requires the biker to ride with the front wheel raised in the air. On a motorbike, this maneuver is quite difficult and dangerous.
The adventure started with Sean Strickland posting a video on his Instagram stories, saying:
"So [the] last time I wheelied...I did a backflip. We're gonna try it again today."
Strickland then posted a story of him excited on his bike. He then posted another video story showing a gash on his hand, saying:
"Well guys I got a little overconfident. I was riding the balance point, I was doing it. I was keeping it up, and then went a little bit too far back."
Here are screenshots of his stories:
After showing that his bike didn't sustain much damage and that it was an "easy fix", Strickland posted another video of his injured hand, saying:
"I tell you what, training today is gonna f**king suck. But I'm an idiot. I flipped my bike. Gotta man up and train."
He then posted a photo of his bike on the road, presumably right after the wheelie accident.

Sean Strickland slams Las Vegas motorcycle dealerships: "You guys are f**king thieves"
To cap off his string of Instagram stories, Sean Strickland posted a video criticizing Las Vegas motorcycle dealerships. This is under the presumption that the former UFC champ had his bike fixed after the accident or inquired about buying a new one and had some complaints about the price.
Strickland said:
"Yo Vegas motorcycle dealerships. You guys are f**king thieves, man. You're talking about two, three, four thousand dollar markup. I can go to Utah, I can go to California and buy that s**t in SRP (Standard Retail Price). But you guys f**king try to charge five, four thousand dollars, like what the f**k!"
