Sean Strickland lectures his followers amid David Goggins "losing his damn mind": "Social media isn't real"
Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently highlighted the intolerance on social media concerning a video posted on Instagram by former Navy SEAL and ultra-endurance athlete David Goggins. 'Tarzan' also urged his followers to stay away from social media and get involved in real-world affairs as much as possible.
Strickland is known for expressing his opinions freely about various social issues. This time, he highlighted Goggins' frustration about the negative comments on one of his recent videos on Instagram. It showcased a cancer-battling teenager giving out a few words of hope and motivation to the ones watching him.
Goggins was upset because even such a video garnered a few negative comments from the online population. He expressed his frustration through another Instagram reel.
In an Instagram reel of his own, Strickland implied that Goggins should ignore those negative comments since they were too low in count. Moreover, he suggested that those comments or any negativity on social media don't necessarily come from a real person. Strickland also advised his followers to use social media judicially because of misconceptions it can create.
"Alright, so David Goggins posted this video, and he’s losing his damn mind. Anyway, the gist of the video he posted was somebody who is dying of cancer. And this guy has deep faith in God, and I respect that. [The video has] millions and millions of views and a few negative comments. Statistically speaking, you wouldn’t even take it into a study how small that percentage is. Social media is not real, man, you guys need to understand this. These lives you see, these people you see, they are not real… This toxic cesspool of Instagram, it fu**ing corrupts your brain. Social media is not real, guys. Real life is real[ly] nice."
Sean Strickland recently fired a shot at someone called Bob, whose activities match with Jon Jones
Sean Strickland seemingly fired a shot at Jon Jones recently. One of his posts on X highlighted the negative acts of someone called Bob. It's pertinent to note that Bob's activities are alarmingly similar to Jones' acts, for which he got into trouble with the law. Strickland's post read:
"It's so odd to me how famous people get the free pass. Picture if I said "Hello, I want you to meet my friend, Bob". Bob does steroids, Bob beats up women in front of kids, Bob hit a pregnant woman, and drove away. You'd say "f*ck bob" lmao society is very strange"
