Sean Strickland offers to be Stipe Miocic's "punching bag" for the Jon Jones fight camp
Sean Strickland is seemingly not a fan of Jon Jones and recently went in on the UFC heavyweight champion for his past wrongdoings.
The outspoken middleweight also offered himself to Stipe Miocic, most likely Jones' next opponent, as a "punching bag" to train for the championship fight.
In a recent interview with Helen Yee, 'Tarzan' was asked to comment on Jones' dominant win over Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Strickland started by berating the Frenchman for his lack of effort in the cage before going on a brutal rant about 'Bones'.
He said:
"Greatest fighter in the world, but Jon Jones sucks you guys. He's failed the most drug tests, he beat his wife bloody, he hit a pregnant lady and drove off... You could've been the greatest fighter, but with how many drug tests you've failed, it's not right."
Sean Strickland further pleaded with Stipe Miocic to beat Jones, saying:
"Stipe bro. Please, man, do it for me. Stipe, if you want to train, come here. I'll be your punching bag. We could fight every day. Whatever the f**k you need Stipe, I'm your man."

Jon Jones is expected to face Stipe Miocic for his first title defense. While no official date has been announced yet, reports suggest that UFC 290, during International Fight Week, could be the pay-per-view event to feature the bout.
Sean Strickland on Israel Adesanya vs. Alex Pereira 2
In the same interview, Sean Strickland shared his thoughts on the upcoming rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira at UFC 287.
'Poatan' shockingly managed to secure a fifth-round TKO victory over Israel Adesanya at UFC 281, defeating the long-reigning king of the division to be crowned champion.
Pereira was seemingly en route to a decision loss heading into the final round of his bout against Adesanya. However, the Brazilian caught 'The Last Stylebender' against the cage and unleashed a barrage of vicious blows, prompting the referee to stop the contest.
Speaking to Helen Yee, Sean Strickland, staying true to his character, held nothing back as he chastised the Nigerian-born Kiwi.
'Tarzan' opined that Adesanya represented a "class of champions" that the UFC didn't need and hoped Pereira would win again. He stated:
"I think Izzy's going to do the right thing. He's going to be a little b**ch... I think Izzy's going to run, and Alex, I hope you f**king put this man to sleep or retire him. He's a class of champion we don't f**king need."
